In summers, due to sunlight and pollution, the skin of hands and feet starts looking tanned and dull and in the rainy season, the problem of fungal infection also increases. Fungal infection in nails not only looks bad, but it can also turn their color yellow or black and the nails start breaking as soon as they grow a little. For this reason, it is necessary to keep doing pedicure-manicure every week or two. In which Epsom salt is very beneficial.  

Epsom salt protects the skin from fungal infections and bacteria. It keeps the skin of the feet clean and soft. Not only this, it also relieves the problem of pain and swelling in the feet.  

How to use Epsom salt in pedicure

  • Fill the tub or bucket with lukewarm water.
  • Add one spoon of Epsom salt to it.
  • Keep your feet immersed in this water for at least 30 to 45 minutes.
  • To bring a touch of aromatherapy to pedicure, you can also add  essential oils to it.
  • After soaking the feet for some time, scrub them and clean the dead skin.
  • Remove from water and wipe feet and dry them well. Apply soap near the feet and massage.
  • Don't forget to moisturize your feet.

Use of Epsom Salt in Manicure 

  • Clean the nails with nail remover . Then cut and file the nails.
  • Soak your hands in lukewarm water by adding Epsom salt.
  • You can add body wash to the water for foaming and also essential oils.
  • Scrub your hands. This will remove all the dead skin.
  • Moisturize your hands and then apply nail paint.
