Traffic month started in Agra on Monday (4 October), in which information about traffic rules was given. In the month of November, a program was organized at the Police Line Parade Ground in Agra to spread awareness about traffic rules under the Traffic Month. An exhibition was also organized during this period.
Senior officers were present in the program
. ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshreshtha, Police Commissioner J Ravindra God and other senior police officers were present in this program. Apart from this, an exhibition focused on awareness of traffic rules was also organized, in which the importance of road safety was emphasized.
From school children to different intellectuals of the city, everyone was invited to the program. The main objective of Traffic Month is that people follow traffic rules so that road accidents can be reduced. Through slogans like "Lack of caution leads to accidents", people were taught to be cautious and drive responsibly.
Traffic police made aware
Agra traffic police has planned to work on many important points during traffic month. In this, special attention will be given to negligence like not wearing helmet, driving without number plate, not wearing seat belt, breaking red light and driving after drinking alcohol. Strict challan action will be taken against those who violate these rules.
In the program, ADG Anupam Kulshreshtha flagged off a traffic rally, which will go to different parts of the city and make people aware about following traffic rules. He said that this initiative of Agra Police will continue throughout the month, so that people can stay safe on the road and follow traffic rules seriously.
