Aligarh Muslim University News: A fierce fight broke out between two groups of students of Aligarh Muslim University over the battle for supremacy. During this, the fight gradually turned into firing. A student of the other group has been accused of firing. During this, a student was injured by hitting him with the butt of a gun. The accused are also said to be students of Aligarh Muslim University.

The firing incident caused a stir in AMU. The AMU administration team also reached the spot in a hurry. They have started scrutinizing the CCTV footage. On the other hand, the police of Civil Lines police station also came into action regarding the battle for supremacy between the students. The police is recording the statement of the injured student.

Two groups clashed in AMU​​  

Aligarh Muslim University professor Waseem Ali reached the spot to know the condition of the injured student. He has said that he will hand over the CCTV footage to the police after examining it. Actually, the whole matter is from near the library canteen of Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh district, where a case of injuring a young man Suhail, a second year BA student, with the butt of a gun in a clash between two groups of students has come to light. At the same time, the university professor Waseem Ali has completely rejected the firing in Aligarh Muslim University.

Police is investigating CCTV footage  

Proctor Wasim Ali said that there was a fight between two groups, the decision of which was said to be in the morning, but once again there was a fight. The student was hit with something. He has injury marks on two places, he has been admitted to Aligarh's JN Medical College. The area police has been informed about this. The Civil Line Police Station reached the spot and is investigating, the CCTV cameras installed at the spot have been started to be scanned.

Further action will be taken on the basis of CCTV footage. Some people have been identified, who are said to be paramedical students. After further investigation, the CCTV footage will be handed over to the police. At present, the police is busy in its action. The Proctorial team is cooperating with the police in the investigation, whatever legal action is required will be taken against the accused.

ASP Amrit Jain said that information has been received about a fight between two groups near the library canteen of Aligarh Muslim University. The injured have been immediately admitted to JN Medical College. During this time, there is also information about an incident of firing, which is being investigated. A case has been registered on the complaint received at Civil Lines Police Station. Peace and order is maintained at the spot. A special team has been formed. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
