Agra.  Under the Chief Minister's Urban Expansion/New City Promotion Scheme, ADA will take a loan of Rs 500 crore from the bank for the development of the proposed township in Kakua and Bhandai. For this, ADA is busy finalizing the layout plan of the township. The layout plan of the township was put up for approval in the 143rd meeting of the ADA board held recently, in which it was asked to clarify the land use.

There is a plan to develop ADA township in 138.53 hectares of land in Kakua-Bhandai. For this, the government had earlier released the first installment of Rs 150 crore as seed capital to ADA. ADA has already got the sale deeds of about 15.50 hectares of land from the farmers in its favour.

These plots are proposed

According to the Uttar Pradesh Township Policy-2023, land uses of residential, community facilities, commercial, parks, play grounds, green areas, highway facility zones, traffic and transport system have been proposed in the township. Maximum residential land use has been proposed in this.

these will be the buildings

There will be 4087 plots and buildings of group housing, HIG, MIG, LIG, EWS here. Divisional Commissioner Ritu Maheshwari had given instructions in the board meeting to clarify the land use for fire safety, petrol pump, charging point, other utilities in the layout plan.

 

will be developed in two phases

The cost of developing the township in 10 years is expected to be Rs 1181 crore. This includes the land price of Rs 783.3 crore and the operation and maintenance expenditure of the township for five years. The ADA is expected to get a revenue of Rs 1527 crore from the township. 

A loan of Rs 500 crore will be taken from the bank for the development of township in Kakua and Bhandai. The bank has not been decided yet. The layout plan is being finalized for this. - Shraddha Shandilyayan, Secretary ADA
