Delhi Politics: Aam Aadmi Party has expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi. Citing the theft of metro cables on the Blue Line, AAP cornered the Centre on the way it is dealing with the security of Delhi.
AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that nothing is safe under the supervision of Home Minister Amit Shah. He wrote on the social media platform X that what is happening in Delhi, today the situation has become such that even the cable of Delhi Metro has been stolen.
Arvind Kejriwal said that if the cable of Delhi Metro is not safe even when there are such strong security arrangements, then nothing is safe in Delhi. He requested Home Minister Amit Shah to strengthen the security system of Delhi. Cabinet Minister in Delhi Government Saurabh Bhardwaj also criticized the Center. He issued a video message and said, "The cable has been stolen from Kirti Nagar to Moti Nagar on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro."

Saurabh Bhardwaj expressed surprise and said, "The responsibility of the security of the country's capital Delhi is directly in the hands of the central government and Home Minister Amit Shah, yet the metro cable was stolen." Saurabh Bhardwaj further said that cable theft is just one example. Vehicles are being stolen every day in Delhi, car tires are being stolen, mobile phones are being snatched, chains are being snatched and even banks are being robbed.

He said that pumps are being stolen from people's houses. Motors and wires installed by the government are the target of thieves. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Delhi is the capital of the country and yet crime is increasing. Through the video, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj raised the issue of security of Delhi. He urged Home Minister Amit Shah to take Delhi's security seriously. He demanded to take the strictest steps to curb the increasing crimes in Delhi and to immediately address the growing security concerns in the minds of the public.
