Kanpur News: A person who runs a small tea stall in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh has set a great example. Mehboob Malik, who earns a little money by selling tea, became the support of helpless children and took the responsibility of their education. Mehboob dreamed of educating children 13 years ago and since then he has provided free education to 5 thousand children. Mehboob provides these children with everything from notebooks and books to school uniforms and other facilities. He has also received an award for this work. 

Mehboob Malik, a resident of Kakadev in Kanpur, is no less than a messiah for all those children of the city who are helpless, who beg for money from people or are engaged in picking up garbage and doing odd jobs to support themselves and their families. Mehboob decided to bring the light of education in the lives of such children and took a pledge to educate such children 13 years ago.  

When Mehboob started this project,
he had to work very hard to bring education to the children. After which gradually children started joining him and in these years he made 5 thousand children from the city a part of his campaign. He formed a voluntary organization Maa Tujhe Salaam, in which children are given education from class 1 to 5. Today, children studying from Mehboob are pursuing further studies in the famous schools of the city.

Mehboob spends 80 percent of his earnings from his tea shop on the education of children. He has also received an award from the then Governor Ram Naik for this work. Mehboob says that when a tea maker can serve the country by becoming the Prime Minister, why can't we? Many people from the city have joined hands with Mehboob. His dream is to build a school in which more children can study.
