Ahmedabad Kid Dies of Cardiac Arrest: An 8-year-old innocent girl died of a heart attack in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This news is heartbreaking. The girl was in school when suddenly she sat on a chair due to restlessness and then fainted. She was having trouble breathing. Seeing this, the teachers gave her CPR and then immediately took her to a nearby private hospital in their car.
Doctors at the hospital said that she had suffered a cardiac arrest. 8-year-old Gargi was also put on a ventilator, but she could not be saved.
Gargi felt restless and sat on a chair and fainted.
The incident is of 'Zebar School for Children' located in Thaltej area. School principal Sharmishtha Sinha spoke to news agency PTI and said that Gargi studied in class 3. She was going towards her class on the first floor. It was seen in the CCTV footage that before going to the class, she suddenly felt restless and sat on a chair in the gallery.
Seeing Gargi's bad health, the school teachers and other students were present near her. Gargi, who was sitting on the chair, suddenly fainted and fell on the ground.
Teachers gave CPR and then took her to hospital.
The school principal said that when Gargi reached school in the morning, she was absolutely fine. While going to her class on the first floor, she sat on a chair in the gallery and after some time she fainted. She was having trouble breathing, due to which the teachers gave her cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Seeing the critical condition of the girl, the staff did not wait for the ambulance. Without any delay, the girl was taken to a nearby private hospital in a teacher's car. There the doctors informed that the girl had a heart attack. After this, treatment started immediately and Gargi was put on a ventilator, but the girl could not be saved.
Police is investigating
After the matter of the girl's death came to light, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Sector-1 Joint Police Commissioner Neeraj Badgujar told PTI that the investigation is ongoing. The girl's body has been taken for post-mortem to know the real cause of her death.
