News Topical, Digital Desk : Doctors found negligent in Uttar Pradesh's government hospitals have been dismissed. On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, 17 doctors have been dismissed for negligence. This action has caused a stir in the health department. the Deputy Chief Minister's instructions, action was taken against medical officers who were consistently absent from duty. A total of 17 doctors have been dismissed in this action. Dr. Mahendra Singh of the Banipara Primary Health Center (PHC) in Kanpur Dehat and Dr. Vinay Kumar, under the Bareilly CMO, have been dismissed on the Deputy Chief Minister's instructions.
He was suspended on the instructions of the Deputy CM.
Apart from this, instructions have been given to the Additional Chief Secretary to dismiss Dr. Shalini, Dr. Prabha Pal of Auraiya Ajit Mall Community Health Centre (CHC), Dr. Ajay Rajput of Achalda Ghasara PHC, Dr. Alok Kumar of Gura Bidhuna PHC, Dr. Pradeep Kumar of Government Hospital, Dr. Jyotsna Pandey, Gynecologist under Varanasi CMO office and Dr. Rekha Devi of Saidabad CHC of Prayagraj.
Instructions for departmental action for not assuming charge after transfer
It has been reported that medical officers who were consistently absent from duty have been reprimanded. Departmental action has also been taken against four medical officers who mistreated patients. Furthermore, departmental action has been ordered against Dr. Gajendra Singh, who failed to assume his duties at his new posting after his transfer.
Explanations have been sought from four medical officers at the BKT Trauma Center for negligence. Three medical officers who were negligent in their work have been warned. Furthermore, five medical officers have had their salary increments withheld for negligence and disregard for higher orders. Two medical officers who purchased medicines against the procurement policy have been ordered to have their pensions reduced by 10 percent.
