He said that Prime Minister Modi reiterated India's support for a democratic, stable, peaceful, progressive and inclusive Bangladesh. He told Prof. Yunus that India wishes to build positive and constructive relations with Bangladesh.
Vikram Misri further said that Prime Minister Modi also urged that any rhetoric that can vitiate the atmosphere should be avoided. Strict adherence to the law on the border and prevention of illegal border crossing is essential to maintain border security and safety.
