New Delhi. Police security arrangements are very strict in the capital Lucknow regarding the Muharram procession. About two thousand civil police forces, 14 PAC companies, two companies of paramilitary force have been deployed in the district. Also, the procession is being monitored through drones. 

On Wednesday, on the 10th of Muharram, the "Ashura procession" is being taken out from the Imambara of Victoria Street. The procession will pass through Nakhas Tiraha, Toodiyaganj, Billauchpura, in front of Bazarkhaala police station, Haiderganj Tiraha, Bulaki Adda, Everedi Tiraha, Vikram Carton Mill Tiraha and will end at Karbala Talkatora."We have made multi-layer security arrangements. Around 2000 civil police forces, 14 PAC companies, 2 companies of Central Paramilitary Force are present here. Apart from this, mounted police have also been deployed here. We are also monitoring the procession through drones and unmanned aerial vehicles."

• Vehicles will not be able to go from the Toodiganj intersection towards the Nakhas or Haiderganj intersection.
• Traffic from Kamla Nehru Crossing towards Nakhas, Tooriyaganj Tiraha.
• From Rakabganj bridge crossing towards Nakhas.
• From Mill Area junction towards Bulaki Adda or Everday junction.
• Any vehicle from Ranjit Singh Building (Balaji Mandir) junction will go towards Eveready or Vikram Cotton Mill, Karbala Talkatora.
• From Alambagh side, from Langda gate over bridge slope towards Vikram Cotton Mill, Everready Tirahe.
• From Vikram Cotton Mill Tirahe towards Karbala Talkatora or Everday Tirahe.
• From A Block Rajajipuram (Union Bank) junction towards Karbala Talkatora.
• From Bhusa Mandi Tirahe towards Everdi Tirahe.
• Roadways and city buses and general traffic coming from Hazratganj will go from Sushila Devi Smritika Tiraha towards Nishatganj, Golmarket.
• City bus or any other mode of transport from Golmarket, Post Office Mahanagar Square towards Badshahnagar.
• Roadways/city buses from Central Bank Tiraha towards Nishatganj.
• Normal traffic from the intersection under Nishatganj bridge towards Badshahnagar.
• Normal traffic from Lekhraj Market intersection towards Badshahnagar.
• Some kind of traffic from the crossing under the Kukrail Bandha bridge will go towards Badshahnagar.
• Any traffic from Post Office Mahanagar (Carmel) crossing towards Badshahnagar.
• From Telibagh bridge, roadways/city buses and general traffic will proceed forward through Telibagh market.
• Any type of traffic from Subhani Kheda crossing towards Telibagh market will be able to go through here.
