Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav claimed on Monday (April 6) that the BJP is nervous because a Samajwadi Party government is likely to be formed in next year's assembly elections. He stated that the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) is responsible for protecting the Constitution, democracy, and reservations.

He said, "The Samajwadi Party is following the Constitution of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the principles of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, and the path of struggle of Netaji Mulayam Singh Yadav. Socialists fight resolutely against injustice. The Samajwadi Party and the PDA will fight together to save the Constitution and democracy."

If the war ends, our economy will improve – Akhilesh Yadav

According to a statement issued from the SP's state headquarters in Lucknow, the party president said, "We want the war to end as soon as possible. We socialists have always been against war. If the war ends, our deteriorating economy will improve. Because of the war, lines are forming for gas cylinders. The BJP government can provide empty cylinders but cannot provide filled ones."

Diesel and petrol prices will increase after the elections are over - Akhilesh Yadav

Yadav said, "Just as fertilizer was stolen from a sack, if you get a gas cylinder measured, you'll find it underweight. I've heard kerosene is selling out. Induction plates are selling out. Diesel and petrol prices will rise once the elections are over."

We have to prepare for 2027- Akhilesh Yadav

The SP chief said, "We have to prepare for 2027. We have to win all three seats in Kannauj. The Samajwadi Party is going to win all the seats. When the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) loses to the public, it conspires with the Election Commission." He said that the SP supports reservation, respect, and rights for women, but the BJP government has no intention of providing proper reservation. Yadav alleged that the BJP is a party that has never adopted the Indian flag.
