New Delhi: The case of rape of a female trainee doctor in Kolkata will be heard in the Supreme Court today. The court has taken suo motu cognizance of the matter. Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, was questioned by the CBI for 13 hours on Monday for the fourth consecutive day.

Governor Bose will meet the President 

According to sources, the former principal is giving wrong information. There are inconsistencies in his statement. Meanwhile, Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has reached Delhi to meet President Draupadi Murmu. According to information, Governor Bose may also meet Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister JP Nadda.

Women are unsafe under Mamata government: Governor 

On Monday, the Governor expressed concern over the law and order situation in Bengal. He met women leaders and doctors at Raj Bhavan. The Governor said that Bengal is not a safe place for women. The current government has made the state unsafe for women.
