News Topical, Digital Desk : The Pakistani terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed is forming its own women's brigade, Jamaat ul-Mominat. Launched by Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, it aims to recruit women for global jihad. Azhar is luring women to join the group by promising them heaven.
In fact, a 21-minute audio recording of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar has surfaced. This recording reveals a detailed blueprint for Jaish's new wing, Jamaat-ul-Mominat, to train, educate, and deploy women in terrorist activities.
Masood Azhar reportedly delivered this speech at Markaz Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur. In the audio, Masood Azhar says that just as male terrorists undergo a 15-day training program called "Daura-e-Tarbiyat," women joining Jamaat-ul-Mominat will undergo a training program called "Daura-e-Tasqia," held at Markaz Usman o-Ali in Bahawalpur.
Direct to heaven after death
The first phase of Jaish's propaganda, Daura-e-Tarbiyat, focuses on radicalizing youth and convincing them that participating in terrorist activities against India will grant them access to paradise. Along similar lines, Azhar says that any woman who joins Jamaat-ul-Mominat will "go straight to paradise after death."
Azhar further states that women who complete the first training will proceed to the second phase, "Daura-Ayat-ul-Nisa," where they will be taught how Islamic texts "instruct women to wage jihad."
Rules for women to be admitted
According to NDTV, Azhar announced that branches of Jamaat-ul-Mominat will be established in every district of Pakistan, and each branch will be headed by a muntazimah (manager) who will be responsible for recruiting women. Strict rules will apply to women joining the terrorist brigade. They must not speak to any unknown men by phone or via messenger, except their husbands or immediate family members.
These women included
Earlier, reports stated that Azhar had appointed his sister, Sadia Azhar, as the head of the women's brigade. Azhar's other sister, Samaira Azhar, and Afira Farooq, wife of terrorist and Pulwama attack mastermind Umar Farooq, also lead the brigade. According to Azhar's speech, Jamaat-ul-Mominat includes 4-5 women whose relatives were killed in encounters with the Indian Army.
