
News Topical, Digital Desk : Lucknow News: Unemployed youth of OBC (Other Backward Classes) of Uttar Pradesh will now be made technically competent by giving them free computer training. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government has decided to implement the "O Level" and "CCC" computer training scheme in mission mode. This scheme is for those youth of the state who want to move forward on the path of employment or self-employment by gaining technical knowledge.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) Narendra Kashyap said that the aim of the scheme is to prepare the youth according to the needs of the digital world. This will enable them to get better opportunities in government jobs as well as in the private sector.

The application process for this scheme will be completely online. Interested candidates and institutions can apply by visiting the website https://obccomputertraining.upsdc.gov.in or https://backwardwelfareup.gov.in. All the guidelines are available on the website.
The timetable is as follows:
Applications from institutions: 13 May to 27 May 2025
Verification and selection of institutions: 30 May to 10 June 2025
Applications from candidates: 11 June to 10 July 2025
Release of selection list: 24 July 2025
Admission and biometric verification: 25 to 31 July 2025
Training starts: 1 August 2025
Only institutions recognized by NIELIT are eligible
This training will be given only through institutions recognized by NIELIT, an authorized institution of the Government of India. The institutions will have to submit the hard copy of the application to the concerned district office by the due date.
The selection process will be transparent
Director of Backward Class Welfare Department, Dr. Vandana Verma said that the institutions will be selected by the state level committee and the students will be selected by the district level committee so that the entire process remains transparent and fair.

This scheme of the government is a concrete step towards making the OBC youth of the state self-reliant and digitally empowered. By getting free training under the scheme, they will be able to prove themselves in competitive examinations for government services as well as in private sector jobs.
Minister of State Narendra Kashyap has appealed to all the youth of OBC category to take advantage of this opportunity and prepare themselves for the technical world. This scheme is a part of Chief Minister Yogi's thinking in which priority has been given to the policy of making every youth skilled and helping him stand on his own feet.
