Moscow: The Russian military hit back at Ukrainian troops with missiles, drones on Tuesday, a senior Russian commander said, halting Ukraine's advance after the biggest attack on Russian territory since the war began. Russian President Vladimir Putin said the West was using Ukraine to fight a proxy war with Russia. "The enemy will certainly receive a befitting reply. We will undoubtedly achieve all our goals," he said.

Ukraine also attacked Russia with a drone

Russia slams Ukraine's allies

 

Russia on Tuesday slammed Ukraine's Western allies at the United Nations. Western countries have not condemned Kiev's aggression in the Russian region of Kursk. Russia accused the Ukrainian army of killing civilians. Russia's UN Deputy Ambassador Dmitry Polyansky said at the Security Council meeting, "We have not heard a single word of condemnation from Kiev's Western allies.
