Karachi: People in Pakistan are yearning for basic facilities like electricity. People living in Karachi are facing the problem of power cuts for three consecutive days. People took to the streets on Tuesday to protest against this. They said that they have to pay a huge bill and still they are not getting proper electricity supply.

Protesters blocked the roads

The protesters set tyres on fire and blocked the roads. They said that their daily lives are being affected due to frequent power cuts. Even water is scarce in homes. Children, women and the elderly are facing more problems.

Declaration to continue the protest

During the protest, vehicles of electricity department employees were also stopped and they were appealed to solve the problem as soon as possible. They have announced that their protest will continue until the electricity problem is completely resolved.
