He advised Indian nationals residing in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible and also advised people to exercise extreme caution and remain in touch with the Embassy.

War could break out in Lebanon: America

The whole world is afraid that war may break out in Lebanon now. US President Joe Biden has also said that war may break out in Lebanon. Amidst the turmoil of war, Turkey has announced to stand with Lebanon in the war. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, India has asked its citizens present in Lebanon to immediately leave from there. Meanwhile, 51 people have been killed and 223 injured in Lebanon in Israel's latest air strikes on Wednesday.

Displacement of Lebanese citizens

The displacement of Lebanese citizens from areas near the Israeli border continues. So far, more than five lakh people have left their homes and taken refuge in safe areas. People are migrating from there amid the threat of war.
