Tehran. Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh has died. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has confirmed in a statement that Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed when his residence in Tehran was targeted. The attack was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, Haniya attended the swearing-in ceremony of Iran's new President. He also met Iran's Supreme Leader. The Islamist group mourned the death of Ismail Haniya. Analysts on Iranian state television have blamed Israel for this murder.
