Beirut: Lebanon's militia group Hezbollah's campaign to break its own phones backfired. Israel took over this campaign and carried out the world's most astonishing operation. Hezbollah's fighters were confident that Israel would not be able to track their location if they used pagers as a means of communication. But Israel foiled their plans.

Why was the break phone campaign launched?

Hezbollah is completely shocked by Israel's pager attack. Hezbollah launched the Break Phones campaign in February this year. This campaign was launched as part of a war plan. The main objective of the Break Phones campaign was to avoid Israeli espionage.

In a televised speech on February 13, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah issued a stern warning to his supporters. He said that these phones are more dangerous than Israeli spies. They should be destroyed. They should be buried or locked in iron boxes.

Mossad had placed explosives in the phones to eliminate its enemies. After this, hackers sent a special code to the phone. This caused the phones to heat up and in many cases even exploded.
