New York: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday spoke about the second attempt to assassinate him. He said he was playing golf and suddenly he heard gunfire. He could not understand what was happening.

In an online interview, Trump said, 'I was playing golf with some of my friends. It was a Sunday morning and the weather was very calm and pleasant. Everything was beautiful. Suddenly we heard the sound of bullets being fired in the air. About four or five bullets were fired. The Secret Service immediately understood what had happened. They surrounded me and we got into the vehicles. We moved ahead and got out of the way.'

Trump said the agent did a great job

Praising the security arrangements of the Secret Service, Trump said that the agents did a great job and there is no doubt about it. The bullets we heard were fired by the Secret Service agent who had seen the barrel of the rifle. The rifleman did not get a chance to fire. The agent had just seen the barrel of the rifle and based on that he started firing and ran towards his target.

Trump was attacked in July

Trump said he wanted to continue the game, then decided to leave. Comparing it to the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania in July, Trump said the outcome was much better this time. One person in the audience was killed in that attack. The former president also praised the woman who chased the fleeing suspect and took pictures of his vehicle.

Security agencies are investigating

Trump said, 'How many people have the brains to follow him and take pictures of the rear of the vehicle with its license plate. With the help of which the security agencies were able to trace that person.' Trump described the arrested suspect Ryan Wesley Ruth as a very dangerous person.

Secret Service chief said- Trump needs new security arrangements

The head of the Secret Service told Donald Trump in a private meeting that he would need significant new security measures if he wanted to continue playing golf. Trump asked acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe in a meeting on Monday if it was safe for him to continue playing golf, The New York Times reported.

In response, Rowe said that the Secret Service finds it easier to secure the golf course at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland because it is a military course. Rowe also said that if he wants to continue playing golf, he will need new security arrangements. This meeting took place a day after the Secret Service foiled the second apparent assassination attempt on Trump in less than two months.
