After the results are released, the Indian stock market will see stock action as soon as the market opens tomorrow i.e. Friday. However, Wipro ADR listed in the US saw a gain of up to 5% today. However, it is also slightly lower than the upper level of the session and was seen trading with a gain of a little more than 3.5%.

Why is Wipro ADR seeing a rise?
Wipro said in an exchange filing that the company's consolidated profit has come down to Rs 3,330 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2026. Which was at Rs 3,570 crore in the previous quarter (January-March). However, the company's profit was estimated to be at Rs 22,087 crore. During this period, consolidated income has come down to Rs 22,080 crore, which is a marginal decline of 1.6% from Rs 22,445 crore in the quarter ended March 2025. The company said that during the June quarter, the company's EBIT declined by 0.7% to Rs 3,813 crore, which was Rs 3,927 crore in the previous quarter. Talking about EBIT margin, it has increased from 17.1% quarter-on-quarter to 17.3%. There has been a decline of 0.3% in dollar income, which stood at $ 2,587.4 million, while in the previous quarter the company's dollar income was at $ 2,596.5 million. Dividend also announced - The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share for its shareholders. The record date for interim dividend has been fixed on July 28.
