News Topical, Digital Desk : On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Jan Shakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav organized a Dahi-Chuda feast in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav attended the Makar Sankranti feast hosted by Jan Shakti Janata Dal chief and Lalu's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap was seen sitting next to his father Lalu during the event.
During this, Tej Pratap's elder maternal uncle Prabhunath Yadav joined the program. He said that since he has come for the Dahi-Chuda feast, he will bless his nephew so that he can move forward and serve the public. We have come to bless our elder nephew. The entire family will gather. Apart from this, on the question of fraud in the elections, Prabhunath Yadav said, "By the day of the elections, women got Rs 10,000. Men have also got it. Our party got 1 crore 15 lakh votes. These people got 95 lakh votes. So we were ahead but due to malfunctioning of the machinery, we lost.
Tej Pratap Yadav's maternal uncle, Sadhu Yadav, said that the entire family will unite, saying, "I have your blessings." He added that Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav will attend. Furthermore, Lok Janshakti Party National President Pashupati Paras also attended the event. He also said that the entire family will unite.
Chura Dahi also in JDU-BJP office
On Wednesday, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended a JDU feast, several ministers and workers of the Bihar government also attended a chuda-dahi feast organized by the Kisan Morcha at the BJP state office. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended the dahi-chuda feast organized by JDU at the residence of former minister and JDU MLA Ratnesh Sada in Patna on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Ratnesh Sada congratulated the Chief Minister by presenting him with a shawl and a bouquet of flowers.
On this occasion, JDU National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, JDU State President Umesh Kushwaha, MLA Shyam Rajak, MLA Sheela Kumari, MLA Santosh Kumar Nirala, Legislative Councilor Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhiji, National General Secretary Manish Kumar Verma along with a large number of party officials, workers and dignitaries were present. Meanwhile, 'Workers' Meet cum Dahi-Chuda Bhoj' program was also organized in the BJP State Office.
On this occasion, a large number of leaders and workers including BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Minister Mangal Pandey are present. Let us tell you that in Bihar, some people are celebrating Makar Sankranti on Wednesday while some people will celebrate it tomorrow i.e. Thursday.
