Oli did not make an official visit to India
This will probably be the shortest visit of a Nepali Prime Minister to India. After his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Nepal in November. Prime Minister Oli, who assumed office for the fourth time in July last year, has not yet made an official visit to India. He had chosen China for his first foreign visit, breaking the tradition of visiting India first after assuming office.
When will PM Modi visit Nepal?
Another Nepal Foreign Ministry official said that the Indian side has also informed about the possibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Nepal in November. The Indian side has not announced the dates but has said November as the possible month for the visit.
