News Topical, Digital Desk : Darsheel Safary became famous by playing the role of Ishaan, an 8-year-old child suffering from dyslexia, in the 2007 film Tare Zameen Par. After the Aamir Khan starrer movie, he did films like Bam Bam Bhole, Jokoman, Midnight's Children, Kutch Express and Phule.

After this, Darsheel Safari's bond with Aamir Khan became very good. Darsheel even came to the screening of Sitaare Zameen Par and praised Aamir's film a lot. But despite so many years of bond, why did Darsheel not ask him for any film, the actor has revealed this.

Working on my own for five years

Darsheel Safary told Mid-Day that he never asks Aamir for work because of shyness. The actor said, “Whatever work I have done after the pandemic, I have done it without any contact. Auditions and screen tests help me understand whether I am capable of doing any role or not and it also helps producers and directors understand whether I fit in it or not.”

I feel ashamed to ask for work from Aamir Khan

Darsheel Safary further said, "People get upset that I don't ask Aamir Khan for work but I feel too shy to do so. He is not my brother that I can call him and say, 'Please get me a script'. I just choose to send him my best wishes, like a text message on his birthday. That's my choice.

Like Tare Zameen Par, the sequel is also doing wonders

It is known that Taare Zameen Par is counted among the hit films of 2007. This film is Aamir Khan's first film as a director. He was seen in the role of an art teacher. After 18 years, its sequel Sitare Zameen Par has been released. This film has already hit a half century at the box office. The story of the film is based on specially abled children.
