News Topical, Digital Desk : Many star kids from B-Town made their debut on the big screen in the past few days. The film was made with big banners, great directors and famous star kids, promotion was done on a big level... but soon after its release, it flopped at the box office. Be it Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan or Aamir Khan's beloved Junaid Khan... these star kids could not save the film from sinking despite all the promotion.

Now Chunky Pandey's nephew and Ananya Pandey's brother Ahaan Panday has entered Bollywood and his first film has set the big screen on fire. Ahaan's debut was a little different than other star kids. Till the release of the film, neither the actor was in the limelight nor did he promote the film. There was a strategy behind this which has been revealed by Saiyyara's director Mohit Suri himself.

That's why Saiyyara stayed away from promotions

Mohit Suri has revealed that Ahaan Panday and Anit Padda have been deliberately kept away from the limelight to keep the audience excited. In a conversation with Just 2 Filmy, the director said, “This idea came from all of us. Akshay Vidwani and Aditya Chopra sir guided us throughout the film. They understood that when our lead actors have nothing to talk about, people will ask them who was the prankster on the set? How was it working with Mohit Suri? These are all nonsense answers... I don't think anyone cares about these things. Yes, but if you work on yourself, it comes out one day and you shine. People are very interested in knowing more about two new faces who are low key.”

Strategy was also made in Aashiqui 2

Mohit Suri gave the example of Aashiqui 2 and said, “I remember when I was doing Aashiqui 2. When we were shooting in Goa, people were recognising me but not Shraddha and Aditya at that time. We were going for promotions and were catching a return flight from Chandigarh. The first show had just started, we were on the flight and there was no network. By the time we landed, the show was over and people knew that this is a really good film.”

Mohit further added, "I have a picture of him being surrounded by air hostess staff. He was not being recognised for how he looked or how we inspired him, but for how he looked and how he connected with us."
