Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will retain General Administration, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, Elections, and all other departments not allocated to anyone. Upendra Kushwaha's son has also been given a significant responsibility. Deepak Prakash has been assigned the Panchayati Raj Department.

In fact, last Thursday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and 26 other ministers were sworn in at Gandhi Maidan. Upendra Kushwaha's son, Deepak Prakash, was among those sworn in. He is being discussed the most because he is currently neither an MLA nor an MLC.

Samrat Choudhary has been given the Home Department. Vijay Kumar Sinha has been given the Revenue and Land Reforms Department and the Mines and Geology Department. Vijay Kumar Choudhary has been given the Water Resources, Parliamentary Affairs, Information and Public Relations, and Buildings Departments.

Senior JDU leader Bijendra Yadav gets five portfolios

On the other hand, senior JDU leader Bijendra Yadav has been given responsibility for not just one or two, but five departments. He will be responsible for Energy, Planning and Development, Prohibition, Excise and Registration, Finance, and Commercial Tax. Shravan Kumar will be in charge of Rural Development and Transport.

Mangal Pandey will continue as Health Minister

BJP leader Mangal Pandey will remain Health Minister. He will also hold the Law Department. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal has been given the Industries Department. JDU Minister Ashok Choudhary has been assigned Rural Works. Lesy Singh has been assigned Food and Consumer Protection.

Nitin Naveen, BJP MLA from Bankipur, will be responsible for road construction and urban and housing development. Madan Sahni has been appointed Social Welfare Minister. Ramkripal Yadav has been appointed Agriculture Minister. Jitan Ram Manjhi's son, Santosh Kumar Suman, will be in charge of the Minor Water Resources Department. 

Sunil Kumar will retain the education portfolio.

Sunil Kumar will hold the Education Department, as well as Science, Technology and Technical Education. Jama Khan has been given the Minority Welfare Department. Sanjay Tiger has been given the Labor Resources Department. Arun Shankar Prasad will hold the Tourism and Arts, Culture and Youth Departments.

Surendra Mehta has been given the responsibility of Animal and Fisheries Resources, Narayan Prasad has been given the responsibility of Disaster, Rama Nishad has been given the responsibility of Extremely Backward Class Welfare in Backward Class, Lakhendra Kumar Roshan has been given the responsibility of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare, Shreyasi Singh has been given the responsibility of Information Technology and Sports, Pramod Kumar has been given the responsibility of Cooperation and Environment and Climate Change, Sanjay Kumar has been given the responsibility of Sugarcane Industry, Sanjay Kumar Singh has been given the responsibility of Public Health Engineering.
