News Topical, Digital Desk : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in a religious event in Vrindavan on Sunday (September 21). He said that since Lord Ram is smiling in his temple in Ayodhya, there is no harm if Lord Krishna smiles too. This statement is being seen in the context of the dispute over the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah Mosque in Mathura.
CM Mohan Yadav attended the closing ceremony of Bhagwat Katha being held at Keshav Dham, Vrindavan in memory of the success of ' Operation Sindoor ' and martyrs , organised by Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sharma .
Addressing the devotees, he said, "We have seen Ram Lalla smiling in Ayodhya. This is a changing era. When Ram Lalla is smiling, what is wrong if Krishna Kanhaiya also smiles."
'Get your ears and eyes fixed' - Mohan Yadav
Mohan Yadav also targeted his opponents without naming them in his speech. He said, "The sound is coming from all directions. Those who are deaf should listen carefully, and those who have vision problems should see clearly. We are not far away."
The case of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah Mosque in Mathura is pending in the Allahabad High Court. The Hindu side is demanding the removal of the mosque and reclaiming the land, while the Muslim side is asserting the mosque's legality, citing the 1968 agreement and the Places of Worship Act of 1991.
Although Mohan Yadav did not directly mention this controversy in his speech, his statement about smiling Krishna is being linked to this context.
Following the inauguration of the Ram Temple, there has been a steady political debate surrounding the Krishna Janmabhoomi issue. Judging by the statements of BJP leaders, it appears the party is preparing to raise this issue prominently. Mohan Yadav's statement is also considered significant in this political and religious context.
