News Topical, Digital Desk : Welspun Corp Ltd has informed after the stock market closed on Monday that the company unit has received an order of Rs 1170 crore from Saudi Water Authority. In the information given to the exchange, the company said that our associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), which is listed in Saudi Arabia, informed the Saudi Stock Exchange today that it has received a contract of 485 million Saudi Riyals (about Rs 1165 crore, including VAT) for manufacturing and supplying steel pipes with Saudi Water Authority. The company said that the duration of this contract is six months.

The company stated that EPIC is a leading Saudi Arabian manufacturer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes. Its fully integrated manufacturing facilities, customer-centric approach, and excellent track record of completing large orders on time and with quality, make it a preferred supplier in the KSA market and continue to support KSA's strategic objectives under Vision 2030. Share Performance Welspun Corp Ltd shares closed at ₹795.50 on Monday, down 3.76%. The company's stock has declined 1.20% in the past year.
