The fall in temperature has brought a lot of relief to people from the humid heat. After noon, thick clouds started covering the sky. It started getting dark very soon. Meanwhile, a dust storm started blowing along with strong winds. The mood of the weather changed due to the rain accompanied by the storm.

Storm and rain in Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida too

Strong winds blew at a speed of about 65 km in the capital Delhi. The situation was more or less the same in the areas around Delhi. In areas like Noida-Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, darkness started to spread and strong winds started to blow. After the strong winds, rain started.

Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department had predicted rain with strong winds in Delhi and surrounding areas in its forecast. Due to storm and rain, the effect of heat has reduced significantly in this entire area. People suffering from humid heat since morning have got a lot of relief. The temperature is expected to decrease by about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius.

Strong winds blew on Saturday as well

Earlier on Saturday evening, strong winds of 40 to 70 kmph blew in many areas of Delhi. The wind speed was recorded at 46 kmph in Najafgarh, 41 kmph in Narayana, 31 kmph in Pitampura, 56 kmph in Palam and 48 kmph in Pragati Maidan. These winds blew between 4:15 and 4:30 pm on Saturday. According to the IMD, the wind speed reached 40 kmph at 4:30 pm in Safdarjung, and the temperature dropped by about six degrees Celsius between 3:30 pm and 5 pm.
