what is the whole matter
According to police, Prema and Kiran, coworkers at a mobile service store in Rajajinagar, were in a relationship. Prema reportedly wanted to pursue the relationship to marriage, while Kiran had reportedly begun to distance himself from the relationship. Matters escalated when he allegedly reconnected with his ex-girlfriend and celebrated her birthday, photos of which Prema found on his phone.
A conspiracy was hatched before the murder
According to police, Kiran's growing closeness with his ex-girlfriend and his refusal to marry her deeply shocked Prema. She allegedly began planning the murder and purchased petrol, kerosene, and rope. Under the pretense of meeting Kiran alone, she lured him to her home in Anjananagar.
Kiran's father lodged a complaint
According to the complaint filed by Kiran's father, Narasimhaiah, the boy received a call from a villager who asked him to come to Bengaluru and told him that his son had been murdered. He arrived home in the evening and learned that Prema, who lived on the second floor, had invited Kiran to her house.
When Narasimhaiah arrived at the scene, he learned from the building owner, Chetan Kumar, and neighbors that Prema ran out of the house and called for help to rescue Kiran. Residents tried to douse the fire with buckets of water. Unable to control the fire, they informed the police and fire and emergency services.
When Narasimhaiah questioned Prema, she confessed to her relationship with Kiran and told him that they used to fight over small matters.
