News Topical, Digital Desk : Telecom company Vodafone Idea (Vi) has released its financial results for the September quarter. In a filing to the exchange, the company stated that its losses narrowed in the second quarter of FY2026. Vodafone Idea's losses fell to a nearly five-year low in the September quarter, although they still remained over ₹5,500 crore. The telecom company's performance improved quarterly, with revenue increasing by over 1% and operating margin remaining stable at around 42%.

How were the quarterly results?

During this period, the company's loss has reduced to Rs 5524 crore, whereas in the previous quarter (Q1) it was Rs 6608 crore. This means that the company's loss has reduced by 16.4 percent. The company's revenue increased by 1.6 percent to Rs 11194 crore, which was Rs 11022 crore in the previous June quarter. The telecom company's EBITDA increased marginally by 1.6 percent to Rs 4684.5 crore, which was Rs 4611 crore in the previous quarter. EBITDA margin has also improved slightly from 41.8 percent to 41.9 percent. 

ARPU increased to Rs 180. The company's average revenue per user (ARPU) has also seen improvement. It has increased from Rs 166 to Rs 180 per user year-on-year. The company's stock closed at ₹9.53 on Monday, down 0.83 percent. Over the past year, the company's stock has gained 21.71 percent.
