Vivek Oberoi had a horrific accident while shooting for Road, the actor said, 'I was almost dead...'

News Topical, Digital Desk : Vivek Oberoi , Riteish  Deshmukh , and Aftab Shivdasani are all set to return to the big screen with Masti 4. The actors are currently busy promoting the film . During a recent interview with Mashable India, Vivek recalled an incident that occurred while shooting for his film Road in Rajasthan.

Repeated warnings were given

Talking  about  this , the Saathiya actor said , “I was shooting a road film in Rajasthan. We were going from Bikaner to Jaisalmer . Beautiful roads, beautiful drive , but it was night time. I asked the driver to drive slowly at least 15 to 20 times .  I said - 'It's night, visibility  is low  , drive slowly'. I was in the front seat and after that incident, I never sat in the front seat.”

A terrible car accident

He further said, "I leaned my seat back and suddenly there was a loud crash. There was a loud noise. Suddenly a camel cart carrying rods came on the road . This broke the windshield of the cart and if my seat had been upright, they would have pierced my body. I could not get out of the car because the rods were on top of me. But I was not hurt. I almost died. After that, I decided not to travel at night ."

Road was  released  in  2002 and  also  starred  Antara  Mali  and  Manoj  Bajpayee  .  Her upcoming film, Masti  4 , is directed by Milap Zaveri  . The film will  release in theaters on November 21st .
