
News Topical, Digital Desk : The members of the Council of Ministers expressed their gratitude by presenting shawls and bouquets to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for installing the Vikramaditya Vedic clock in the Chief Minister's residence . The ministers said that this initiative will take Indian tradition, Vedic calculations and scientific approach to the new generation, which will further strengthen the cultural identity of the state.
Vikramaditya Vedic clock is a wonderful amalgamation of Indian knowledge tradition and modern technology. This clock is not limited to just telling the time, but also provides information like sunrise, sunset, Rahukal , Abhijeet Muhurat and moon position. In this, along with Vedic time, comparative study of Indian Standard Time and Greenwich Standard Time is also possible. A mobile app has also been developed with this unique clock , which is available in more than 189 languages and gives information about time and Panchang for more than 7000 places around the world .

The ministers said that it is a matter of pride that this clock inspired by the Vedic and cultural tradition of Ujjain has been installed in the Chief Minister's residence. This initiative will prove to be helpful in getting the state's glorious heritage recognised on the international platform as well as connecting the youth with Vedic science and calculation system.

On this occasion, Transport, School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Nagar Singh Chauhan , Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Religious Affairs (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi , Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Gautam Tetwal , Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel, Minister of State for Fisherman Welfare and Fisheries Development (Independent Charge) Narayan Singh Pawar and other ministers were present.
