News Topical, Digital Desk : A beautiful picture can brighten up any dull room. But have you ever considered that these pictures are not just decorative elements, but can have a profound impact on your life and destiny?
According to Vastu Shastra, if pictures are hung in the wrong direction in a home, they can negatively impact peace, prosperity, wealth, and relationships. Therefore, when placing pictures on walls, it's crucial to consider not only their aesthetics but also their correct orientation.
1. Photos of ancestors
We hang photos of our elders in our homes to seek their blessings, which is a very good thing. However, remember that these should never be placed in the temple (prayer room) with deities. Vastu suggests that photos of ancestors should always be placed on the south-facing wall.
2. Pictures of God
Placing pictures of deities in the home is considered auspicious for bringing positive energy . However, the ideal location for these is the north-east corner (Ishan Kon). Placing a picture of God in this direction brings prosperity and peace to the home.
3. Photo of flowing water or waterfall
People often hang beautiful paintings of waterfalls or the sea in their drawing rooms. Pictures depicting water should always be placed in the north or east direction. Placing a waterfall in the south direction can lead to unnecessary expenses and career obstacles. Another important point: the water in the picture should flow inward, not outward, or else money will flow out of the house.
4. Family Photos
To maintain love and unity among family members, it's best to place a family group photo in the southwest direction. Avoid placing it in the north or east direction, as this could lead to increased distance, disagreements, and petty fights among family members.
5. Do not post such pictures even by mistake
Never hang pictures of ferocious animals (like lions, leopards), crying children, sinking boats, or war scenes (like the Mahabharata) in your home. These things have a negative impact on the mind and create an atmosphere of unrest and despair in the home.
All these rules are described in detail in ancient Hindu texts and original Vastu Shastra books such as "Vishwakarma Prakash" and "Samarangan Sutradhara." Vastu Shastra is a centuries-old science of energy and direction, which tells us how the directions and objects around us affect our lives, health, and relationships.
