News Topical, Digital Desk : In Vastu Shastra, every corner of the house is associated with some energy, but do you know which is the most important part of your home? It is the 'Brahmasthan'. Do you know what the Brahmasthan is and why heavy items should not be kept there?

What is Brahmasthan?

Simply put, the very center of your home is called the "Brahmasthan." In ancient times, the large courtyard in the center of homes was the Brahmasthan. According to Vastu, this is considered the "heart" or "heart" of the home. Just as the heart needs to beat and remain clean for the body to function, similarly, keeping this center point empty and clean is crucial for the home's well-being.

What happens if heavy items are kept at Brahmasthan?

Due to space constraints, people often place heavy sofas, cupboards, or junk in the center of their homes. Vastu says that doing so disrupts the balance of the home:

Energy Blockage: The Brahmasthan is the place from where positive energy flows throughout the house. Placing heavy objects there can block the energy flow, leading to increased negativity in the home.

Stress and Illness: The Brahmasthan is directly related to the health of the head of the household and the family members. Placing burdens here increases mental stress and family members often fall ill.

Financial difficulties: When the energy flow is not right, prosperity is lost in the home. Unnecessary expenses increase, and financial difficulties may arise.

What to keep here and what not to keep?

What not to keep: Avoid placing heavy furniture, dustbins, brooms, mops, or any junk here. Building stairs or a toilet here is also considered a major Vastu defect.

What to keep: Keep this area as open and airy as possible. In ancient times, a Tulsi plant was planted here, which is still considered auspicious. If a courtyard is not possible, at least keep this area clean and empty.

This Vaastu Shastra rule is simple: keep the "heart" of your home, the Brahmasthan, light. When the center of the home is open and clean, happiness, peace, and prosperity will reside there. If there's a heavy item in the center of your home, try removing it today; you'll feel the positive change yourself.
