The production people set the date
Now, due to the clash between the two films, Varun's fans were a little upset. They thought Varun Dhawan would also be worried about this. During a #varunsays session on Twitter, he answered fans' questions. During this, a fan asked the actor, "Aren't you scared of Kantara?" To this, Varun replied, “The production people set the release date. We're just working hard on our film and trying to make you all laugh. I wish everyone will be laughing in the theaters on October 2nd.”
Why did Baby John flop?
During this, Varun also discussed the failure of his film, Baby John. He starred alongside Keerthy Suresh and Vamika Gabbi in the film. When asked why his film flopped, Varun replied, “Yes, it didn't work. Everyone worked very hard, so Sunny Sanskari's Tulsi has a completely new script. You'll all enjoy it on October 2nd.”
Both the films will clash on October 2.
Sunny Sanskari's Tulsi Kumari is a romantic film. Meanwhile, Kaantara - Chapter 1 is the sequel to the 2022 film Kaantara. It's a mythological drama directed by Rishabh Shetty, who also stars in the lead role. The cast also includes Gulshan Devaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, and Jayaram. This means fans will be able to see two films with completely different themes on the same day.
