Dehradun. Uttarakhand Weather: Light to moderate rainfall is continuing in most parts of Uttarakhand. Especially in Dehradun, one to two rounds of heavy showers are happening amidst the play of sunshine and clouds. The Meteorological Department has predicted that light to moderate rainfall will continue in most parts of the state for the next three days.

According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, there may be heavy rains with thunder and lightning in Dehradun, Bageshwar, Champawat and Nainital today on Friday. Partial cloud cover is expected in other districts.

Moderate to intense rain expected in Doon even today

On Thursday morning, Doon was partly cloudy and light to moderate rain was recorded at some places. After this, light sunshine appeared, but around 12:30 PM, heavy rain occurred in most parts of the city. After this, the sunshine appeared again at around 3 PM. The game of hide and seek between the sunshine continued till late evening.

Due to heavy rainfall, there was a problem of waterlogging in some areas. Rainwater kept flowing on the sides of the roads. Vehicle riders had to face difficulties in commuting due to accumulation of rainwater on dilapidated roads.

The weather department has predicted one or two rounds of moderate to intense rain in Doon today as well. Partial clouds may remain throughout the day.
