According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, light rain and snowfall are possible in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts on Tuesday. Snowfall is especially likely in areas with altitudes of 2800 meters and above.

There is a need to be cautious about strong winds in the plains and surrounding districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Dehradun, Pauri, and Nainital districts. Strong winds of up to 40 kilometers per hour are expected in these districts. Therefore, caution is advised in open spaces and to avoid standing under light structures, billboards, or trees.

According to the Meteorological Department, this change in weather in the state is due to the influence of a western disturbance. Rain and snowfall in the hilly areas may cause temperatures to drop, leading to a resurgence of cold. Chills may be felt especially strongly during the morning and night.
