After meeting the family of the deceased, Rahul said that Arjun's mother told that her younger son runs a barber shop. Six-seven people came to his shop and did not pay after cutting hair. Even before Arjun's murder, young men came to the shop and started leaving without paying, then Arjun's brother asked them to pay, after which Arjun was murdered. The Leader of Opposition said that it is clear that injustice has been done to the family and the society. All these people who have gathered here are demanding justice because the family has been threatened.
SP accused of protecting the mastermind
Rahul Gandhi said that a person has been killed and no action is being taken. The mastermind who carried out the incident is not being prosecuted. The SP of Raebareli is not taking action against the mastermind, this is why people are angry. He said that is why I have come here. We are not going to leave this case until the family gets justice. During this time, the crowd present there was shouting slogans of Rahul Gandhi Zindabad and hang Arjun's killers.
Arjun was shot dead on 11 August
Let us tell you that on the night of 11 August, Arjun Saroj, a resident of the village, was shot dead. After the murder of the youth, the family members, several organizations and villagers blocked the road in the village and protested. After this, the angry people also protested in the Collectorate for the arrest of the accused. On the complaint of the mother of the deceased, the police have registered a case against 12 people including seven named accused, out of which six accused have been sent to jail by the police, while one accused Vishal Singh is still out of the reach of the police.
