SP President Akhilesh Yadav also hit back at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's statement of ignoring and cheating Shivpal Singh Yadav for not making him the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. While answering questions from journalists in Delhi, Akhilesh said, "I have not cheated anyone. He (Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath) has cheated Delhi." He said that he had cheated Delhi.

Let us tell you, on Tuesday, there was an atmosphere of banter as well as laughter between the ruling party and the opposition in the assembly. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in gestures, made sarcastic remarks against SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for not making his uncle Shivpal Yadav the leader of the opposition. Shivpal Yadav also retaliated on the Chief Minister in such a way that the entire house echoed with laughter.

In fact, Chief Minister Yogi stood up to answer the question hour in the assembly when Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey questioned the government about crimes against women in the state. He said, 'I congratulate you for your selection. It is a different matter that you fooled Chacha (Shivpal Yadav). Poor Chacha always gets beaten like this. His fate is like this because the nephew is always scared, but you are a senior member of the House. I respect you.'
