Vance sent a clear message to Iran, saying that threats of military action should be taken seriously. Iran should not mistake US diplomacy for weakness. If necessary, military options will be used.
America threatens Iran
Speaking to Fox News, JD Vance said, "We have to reach a situation where Iran cannot threaten the world with nuclear terrorism." JD Vance described Iran as the biggest stronghold of terrorism.
The US Vice President further said, 'The world's most dangerous, brutal regime cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.'
Vance further said, 'President Donald Trump wants a diplomatic solution, but he also has other options available and has shown a willingness to use them.
Trump will make the final decision
During his address to Congress on Wednesday, Trump accused Iran of developing missiles capable of targeting the United States. He also said Iran was trying to revive its nuclear program after last year's US attacks.
"President Trump will make the final decision on how long to continue the negotiations. President Trump will make the final decision on preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon," Vance said.
