
News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News: The face of government offices and office buildings in Uttar Pradesh will now change. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 95 major construction works of 20 departments are about to be completed in the state. A total of Rs 18,767 crore will be spent on these works. Through this, government offices, staff residences and other necessary buildings will be constructed, so that work becomes easier in future and the public gets better facilities.
The blueprint of these works has been prepared by the Public Works Department (PWD). The special thing is that 17 of these construction works have been completed in record time. 26 works have been completed from 76% to 99%. At the same time, 10 works are in progress between 51% to 75% and 5 works are in progress between 26% to 50%. Most of the works are related to the Home Department. 35 construction works have been decided for the Home Department, on which Rs 6550 crore will be spent. These works include police stations, outposts, residential complexes and offices of policemen. Their completion will strengthen the facilities and offices of the police department.
The Medical Education Department is at number two, where Rs 5357 crore will be spent on 21 construction works. These will include construction of medical colleges, hospitals and their related buildings. Apart from this, 6 projects of the Higher Education Department will be completed at Rs 773 crore, while 7 works of the Prison Department will be completed at Rs 1334 crore. Talking about other departments, 3 works of the Justice Department will be completed in 1227 crores, 3 works of the Medical and Family Welfare Department in 312 crores, 3 works of the MSME Department in 324 crores. Two works of the Revenue and Disaster Department will be completed in 350 crores. Similarly, one or two construction works are going on in the Minority Welfare, Labor, State Property, AYUSH, Secondary Education, Sports, Civil Aviation, Appointment and Personnel, Finance, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Education and Research and Charitable Works departments.
Government buildings will be strong and modern
The state government has decided to undertake these construction works so that there is no problem in government offices and services in future. These buildings will enable smooth running of government work and services and employees will also not face any problems. Also, the public will also get government services quickly and better. According to government sources, these works are being done keeping in mind the future needs. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says that if government buildings are strong and modern, then the pace of development will also be fast. This is the reason why government departments have been instructed to complete the work on time.

The lack of government offices and staff quarters is often a matter of discussion. Old buildings become dilapidated and are unable to provide facilities as per the new work. In such a situation, these construction works will breathe new life into the development of the state. Apart from this, employees and officers will get a good environment, due to which they will be able to be more ready to serve the public.
