News Topical, Digital Desk : The anger of the candidates is now openly coming to the fore regarding the continuous delay in releasing the results of the technical recruitment of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
Candidates of Combined State Engineering Services Examination-2024 and State Agricultural Engineering Services Examination-2024 will protest against the commission on Sunday.
They demand that the Commission should declare the result of the main examination soon after expediting the pending judicial process. In December 2024, the Commission had issued an advertisement for 604 Assistant Engineer posts under the Combined State Engineering Services Examination-2024.
The preliminary examination was held on April 20, 2025, and the results were declared in May 2025. However, the recruitment process subsequently became embroiled in a legal dispute over migration rules.
Some candidates who failed the preliminary examination filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court alleging that the migration policy outlined in Clause 14 of the advertisement had not been properly followed. A single bench directed the preliminary results to be revised.
Candidates stated that the main examination was completed on time following the court order, but even after seven months, the results have not been released. Candidates allege that the Commission is not effectively advocating in court.
Similarly, the Combined State Agricultural Engineering Services Examination-2024 is also pending in court due to this migration dispute. The main examination for this recruitment was held in March 2025, in which approximately 1,700 candidates participated, but despite a year having passed, the results have not been declared.
