News Topical, Digital Desk : Girish Chandra Yadav, Sports Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government has given a big statement regarding the electricity system. He said that we have sufficient electricity available. There is no shortage of electricity. There is a technical obstacle, in which instructions have been given to improve. During this, he also attacked the SP government.  

The Sports Minister reached Mau on Tuesday, where he spoke to journalists in the Collectorate premises and expressed his views on many issues like power supply in the state, Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Yojana, policies of previous governments and law and order.

This answer was given on power cut

When asked about the power situation, Minister Girish Chandra Yadav said that we have sufficient power, there is no shortage. The supply is disrupted due to some local technical reasons. The JE in the concerned area has been directed to assess the disruption in power supply and ensure improvement. 

He claimed that the electricity system is running smoothly in Mau now. From 2012 to 2017, Mainpuri, Etawah, Firozabad, Badaun and Rampur districts were considered VIP. Electricity was provided there for 24 hours, but Mau remained in darkness. This is not the case today. He said that immediate action is taken against the officer who does not listen to the public. Immediate action is taken against him. 

Sharp attack on Samajwadi Party

Girish Yadav targeted SP President Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav and said that when power has gone out of their hands, these people are speaking nonsense in panic. People never gave mandate to Akhilesh Yadav. He got power as inheritance. Today people have completely rejected him.

On being asked about EVMs, he said that when the elections were held in 2014, Akhilesh himself was the Chief Minister and the administration was in his hands. If there was any problem with EVMs, why did he not speak then?
