Through the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, more than 55,000 female milk producers from six districts in the Terai region have become successful entrepreneurs. Women from the Terai and surrounding districts of Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, and Rampur are creating promising opportunities in the dairy sector.

From 2-3 thousand rupees to 60 thousand rupees a month, life changed.
The story of Ram Guni of Siraicha, a small village in Lakhimpur Kheri, is a prime example of this transformation.
Previously, his monthly income was just 2-3 thousand rupees, but after joining the Milk Producers Organization and benefiting from government schemes, his income has now reached 60 thousand rupees per month.

Srijani has become a powerful platform for change.
Through the Srijani Milk Producer Organization, women have not only been connected to the market but also provided training, management, and organized production facilities. This has transformed dairy farming from a small operation into an organized business.

Veterinary services have increased productivity.
Veterinary services are now readily available in rural areas. This has led to improved animal health and a steady increase in milk production.
