Records searched without any official authority
In the video, the MLA's son is seen inquiring about the well-being of patients, checking registers, and even sitting in the CHC superintendent's chair, giving instructions to doctors and staff. However, this entire matter has now raised questions in administrative circles, as according to government protocol, a family member of a public representative is not authorized to conduct such inspections.
The viral video clearly shows the MLA's son, without any official authority, reviewing various hospital records and giving instructions to health workers. Furthermore, he is also seen sitting on the CHC Superintendent's chair, further fueling the controversy. Health department officials say the MLA can personally inspect, but no member of his family is permitted to do so.
A team of CMO and Deputy CMO was formed on the matter
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deepa Singh has taken the matter seriously and ordered an investigation. According to her, a team consisting of the Additional CMO and Deputy CMO is being formed to investigate the entire matter. Further action will be taken based on the facts revealed in the investigation.
At present, this matter appears to be turning into a debate about "influence of power" versus "protocol violation." All eyes are now on the investigation report, which will determine who is responsible for this entire incident and what action will be taken.
