On Monday night, Scheduled Caste members placed an Ambedkar statue without permission. SDM Dharmendra Kumar, Circle Officer Laxmikant Mishra, BDOs, DPOs, Mahrua, Bhiti, Ahirauli, and the women's police station in-charge had to endure the villagers' anger for nearly ten hours to remove the statue. After considerable effort and assurances of obtaining permission, the administration was able to remove the statue around 5:30 in the evening.

Police and administrative officials attempted to persuade them, but the women, youth, and children, led by villager Kunjilal, continued to shout slogans and insisted on not removing the statue. Additional police had to be called in as the situation became serious.
