Tulsi Vivah Puja Materials

To perform Tulsi Vivah, you will need some essential materials, which are as follows - Tulsi plant, red colored Chunari, new saree, Shaligram, picture of Lord Vishnu, Mauli, puja platform, flowers, seasonal fruits, sweets, makeup and wedding items, Kalash, mango leaves, banana leaf, turmeric lump, coconut, Ganga water, ghee, incense, matchsticks, roli, vermillion etc.

Tulsi Vivah 2025 puja method

After bathing in the morning, wear clean clothes. Clean the Tulsi plant's pot. Decorate the pot with red ochre and place it on a pedestal. Place Shaligram on another pedestal. Prepare a beautiful pavilion using sugarcane, banana leaves, and flowers. Fill the pot with water and place five mango leaves on top. Light a ghee lamp. Dress Tulsi in a new sari and a red scarf, offer wedding items, apply vermillion, and adorn her with elaborate adornment. Then, take Shaligram in your hand and circumambulate it seven times with Tulsi. This ritual is performed seven times. Finally, perform aarti. In this way, Tulsi and Lord Shaligram are married.
