She said that due to social, religious, and family pressures, people hide their true identities. According to her, people avoid discussing this topic openly.

Hina Baloch also shared her childhood experiences. She explained that she was more afraid of how to express herself than her sexual identity. She said that while living in Karachi, she worried about how to wear makeup or dress femininely without facing resentment and violence from family and society.
Hina Baloch explained that the transgender community faces limited options, such as begging, dancing, or sex work. She chose to abandon these paths and work for her rights. She co-founded the Sindh Murat March and has participated in Pakistan's Aurat March. She has previously described facing violence and harassment for raising the Pride flag.
It even came to the point of leaving the country
Hina Baloch said she faced alleged harassment and violence by the police, forcing her to leave Pakistan. She later received a scholarship to a London university and sought refuge there. She also criticized the British asylum system, saying it also experiences an environment of constant surveillance.
