News Topical, Digital Desk : Expressway travel in Uttar Pradesh has become more expensive starting at 12 a.m. on April 1st. The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has increased toll rates.
UPDA officials said the toll rates on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway have been increased by five rupees per trip for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and registered tractors. The toll for cars and jeeps has been increased by 10 rupees.

Similarly, the toll rates for large seven-wheeled vehicles on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway have been increased by a maximum of ₹85. Furthermore, the toll rates for light commercial vehicles have been increased by ₹20 on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
Bus and truck tolls have been increased by Rs 50 on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Rs 15 on the Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressways, and Rs 5 on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. Toll rates for heavy construction machinery and heavy vehicles with three to six wheels have been increased by Rs 65 on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Rs 10 on the Purvanchal Expressway, Rs 15 on the Bundelkhand Expressway, and Rs 5 on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
Also, UPDA has increased the toll rates for large seven-wheeler vehicles by Rs 85 on Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Rs 15 on Purvanchal Expressway and Bundelkhand Expressway and Rs 10 on Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
